THE SOCIETY OF SOCIAL WORK COMMITTEES
Based in the Centre for Rehabilitation and Social Service, Tulkarem, Palestine
The Society for Social Work Committees was founded in 2004 under licence from the Ministry of Interior of the Palestinian Authority
Registration Number: (SQT_1005_C).
The society was originally created in 2001 to meet the urgent needs of citizens in the villages, towns and refugee camps in the Tulkarem district.
The society is a dynamic network of volunteers and partnerships, adapting to the changing needs of the whole community.
THE GOALS OF THE SOCIETY:
- To promote closer cooperation and cohesion in society.
- To support and assist families bereaved by the conflict.
- To provide funding in a spirit of social solidarity to reach the most vulnerable people in society.
- To work in the fields of health, culture and the arts, education and social services and facilitate medical and humanitarian projects.
- To support and sustain all the institutions involved in community in all areas and facilitate fruitful cooperation between different organizations.
